21 Days of Prayer and Fasting: Week 1 Prayer Points

2020 is going to be your best year ever. But only if you decide it is.

I’ve decided. 2020 is my year!

In fact, I’m participating in a 21-day fast with ministries and people around the world to consecrate this year to God and take dedicated time to pray over this year, my life, America, the world—a lot of things.

I encourage you to consider taking some dedicated time to consecrate this year to God, too. How you start a year matters!

I’m posting some prayer points ideas today in case you don’t know where to begin.

You don’t have to kill yourself with no food, but perhaps skip a meal a few days a week just to subdue your flesh and strengthen your spirit.

I can tell you right now that three days into my fast of no food 6 AM-6 PM, I feel more strong, confident, and joyful than when I began it.

God is going to do big things this year, and I’m getting ready—I want you to get ready, too!

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
(Hebrews 11:6)

Prayer points ideas

What are you believing God for this year personally?

This year, I’m believing God for supernatural increase and breakthrough in the things He’s called me to do during this season.

I spent over a year and a half down and unable to do these things, but I believe God can make up lost time just like that. (Joel 2:25) 20 years of supernatural increase in one year is a piece of cake for my Jesus.

What are you believing God for this year for your family (immediate and the Body of Christ)?

I’m praying over my family’s ministry as we launch a daily broadcast in February, that it will impact the lives of many, and that my family will be blessed with peace as we get involved and grow closer together.

I’m also thanking God for and praying over specific family members.

I’m also believing God for my family of believers all around the world. Ever since I was a seven-year-old, walking around my church with an empty ice cream container and asking for donations for children in Peru, I’ve had a burden for the persecuted Christians in nations closed to the Gospel.

I’m thanking God for the precious martyrs and their families, and asking Him for protection, strength, and grace for them. They are heroes.

I’m also praying for my favorite ministry, Revival Today, for increase for them this year! Jonathan Shuttlesworth, the founder of Revival Today, has impacted my life greatly and I would still be a self-pitying pessimist if it weren’t for his preaching. 😀

Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
(Matthew 6:16-18)

What are you believing God for this year for your nation?

You don’t have to get political during the fast if you don’t want to. I didn’t really want to at first.

However, I do feel a burden in my heart for America and the wickedness trying to take out the Church.

Yeah, well, good luck. NOT ON MY WATCH. The Christians are still here and I’m fasting for this nation and will stand up for biblical morality and righteousness, no matter the cost!

Those are just a few ideas. I’ll be posting some more to come in the following weeks!

Again, I encourage you to take time every day to spend time with God, praising, thanking, and worshipping Him; praying; as well as keeping Him in your thoughts daily.

I’m aiming for unbroken fellowship with God even as I do my daily activities, which is what He desires. ♥ He truly loves you and desires fellowship with you. That’s why He sent His Son to tear the veil in two. I am also a poet and I didn’t even know it. 😀

By the way, a bit of a change has come to this website.

Comments are now disabled because Life Undefeated is a place to be encouraged and to receive everything Jesus has provided for us, not to debate in the comments section. However, if God has impacted you through this ministry, we would love to hear from you over at the Testimonies page!

Example testimony:

“Now I know how to deal with [offense]. I swear, these posts are bettering my life every Monday.”
