Back in February, rain signaled spring’s arrival. Jumping at the chance to take some raindrop shots, I dashed outside with a camera to redeem myself from the last time I attempted rain photography. ?
It ended up being the most rainfall in the shortest amount of time we’ve ever seen since we moved to Florida – our backyard was covered in water and practically flooding!
I love how vibrantly green the trees are when spring first hits. Besides the rain, that’s probably my favorite part about spring.
As you can see, some trees didn’t get the memo. *is offended* That scrawny tree in the back needs to get to work!
I made a graphic out of this one, but as my graphic design skills are very terrible, I’ll save you the scars and move on to the next picture with no further mention of them.
This one is my favorite – I really like the angle and the focus on the raindrops!

The Mondays with Madi Series!
Every Monday will be a post that’s part of a series called Mondays with Madi. My first series topic will be over the next ten weeks with ten epic ways to kick the devil’s butt in your everyday life! And then later in the same week will most likely be a personal post – like this one, for example, about photography.
Have a phenomenal weekend, guys! I’m off to a monthly prayer meeting at my youth group tonight called the Collective. I wanted to take pictures to show you, but I didn’t ask my youth pastor in time, so… whoops. ?
#flabbergasted ? These photos are like KAHVWBW good. And please don’t ask for a translation of that randomness because…I have no idea what on earth it means ? And my favorite would have to be #1. When I look it, it makes me feel as if time itself has stopped and God is just telling you to take a few breaths, turn 360 degrees, leave your troubles behind for just a moment, and look at the world around you. LOVE IT!!
