I’ve literally always wanted to post a personal goal list, but they just don’t quite fit on a doll blog. Now that I finally have Madi Grace, I’m so excited to share my goals for the month and hear yours! It’s a little late, but I love the idea of posting your goals somewhere. That keeps me accountable and I personally tend to work harder to complete my goals when other people know I have them.
I call my goal list the Destruction List… I don’t want to just complete my goals, I want to destroy them. ?
(As you can see, God is at the top of my list… if He’s not my #1 priority, well… there’s some serious issues going on ?)
1. FINISH NEW TESTAMENT
I wanted to read the entire New Testament in February, but I only read Matthew, Mark, and a little over half of Luke. I’m glad I shot for the whole thing and just got two and a half books in than if I would’ve only shot for one Bible book and only gotten that much, though. I am going to finish it this month regardless! As of now, I’m only about a third into John. But I’m about to seriously amp up my reading. ?
2. USE JOURNAL MORE
I have this cute little journal my brother bought me once that I like to use when spending time with God. It’s important to write down what He speaks to me because paper never forgets and phones can be a distraction. I am going to start using my journal more often this month – God has HUGE plans for Madi Grace and I don’t want to forget a single thing!
3. HAVE A PRAYER LIST WITH PRAYER POINTS OF ONLINE FRIENDS’ PRAYER REQUESTS
I am also going to spend more time in prayer this month than I ever have before. Every day I’m going to go down a list of prayer points and quote the Word of God over each and every one. If you would like me to pray with you and for you, please send me any prayer requests to my email address madigrace[at]powerofGOD[dot]com! I’d love to believe God with you for anything and everything. ?

4. SEND $20 TO MISSIONARY MICHAEL BIGGS
I support missionary Michael Biggs with $20 a month and can’t wait to send in March’s funds. I’ve actually gotten the privilege and opportunity to interview him and how God is using him to kick the devil’s butt in the Middle East. I can’t wait to post the interview for you all! This guy is awesome. And he’s coming to stay with us again later this month to attend a Bible school class I went to!
5. FEED ANOTHER CHILD IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY THIS MONTH
There should NEVER be a time in my life where I’m sitting down to eat something that I’m not supporting another child who would otherwise die of starvation. That would literally break my heart. God commands us to take care of the poor (Psalm 41:1, Proverbs 21:13, 22:9, 28:27, and Matthew 26:11, just to name a few references!) so I support one child with food for just six bucks of my money a month… but I want to do more. You can support one child for only six dollars a month using our ministry, Power of God World Outreach, through our partnership with Feed the Hungry! Remember that nothing we give ever leaves our lives. It only comes back to us blessed and multiplied. (Luke 6:38) When we go out of our way to bless others, God goes out of His way to bless us.
6. POST “FINDING YOUR GOD-GIVEN PURPOSE”
Everyone has struggled with finding their purpose in life. Why am I here? What was I born for? The night I bought the domain name for Madi Grace, I studied the Word of God and found out what He wants you to hear about His incredible purpose for your life. I’m so excited to share it with you!
7. POST “5 WAYS TO KICK THE DEVIL’S BUTT IN YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW”
If you have ever felt unhappy or even jealous at the fact that I do a lot of ministry stuff, never fear, the answer is here! If you are a saved, born again Believer, God called you to the ministry the moment you accepted His Son as your Lord and Savior. Being in the ministry does not just mean traveling and preaching like I do sometimes; if you were under that impression, that’s strictly my fault. As Christians, we are all called to the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:19) – we reconcile others to Jesus. Traveling and preaching is one of the many ways we can do that, but what is really going to reach the world is people reaching people in their realm of influence in their everyday lives. God gave me 5 ways on how you can do just that in your life right now!
8. GET “LIKE” BUTTONS WORKING
I have all the settings right and yet you guys still can’t “like” anything! ? Time to move my dad’s schedule around for him and get him to help me. I feel a Google search and WordPress forum check for this situation coming on. ?
9. ADD WORDPRESS FOLLOW BUTTON
I want following my blog to be easy and effortless for those of you with WordPress accounts. I am going to add a WordPress follow button this month to make subscribing as easy as clicking on it.
10. GET ACCOUNT SITUATED
All of my WordPress notifications are tied to my doll blog, but that just ain’t gonna work. I need them to be separated so I can easily tell who is commenting, following, and liking on what and where. I tried to fix it myself and failed. I feel many Google and WordPress forum searches with my dad coming on. ???
11. COME UP WITH TAGLINE TITLE FOR LOYALTY, BOOK I
I finished editing the first draft in February and am enlisting 2nd round beta readers (there’s still time if you’d like to sign up!), but haven’t decided on a tagline title yet. It needs to be epic… my brother suggested “Divided We Fall”, but that would totally be stealing Civil War’s movie tagline. I came up with “Divided We Die”, but teamwork isn’t exactly the theme of the book; loyalty is. The tagline used to be a ridiculously corny one that the world will thankfully never have the horrors of hearing… my early beta readers deserve a gold medal for surviving through the first 122k-word-hunk-of-junk!
12. ENLIST 2ND ROUND BETA READERS FOR LOYALTY, BOOK I
Been there, done that, bought a T-shirt! Like I said, if you’d like to sign up to beta read my very first novel, there’s still time! Click here for more information. I’d LOVE to hear your feedback!
13. PLOT 50% OF LOYALTY, BOOK II: PURSUIT OF NOTHING
I am so excited to start writing book II of the Loyalty trilogy series! I was even able to think up a
hopefully epic tagline title! ? I’ve had ideas bouncing around in my head for this second book for quite a while and even have the most evilly evil name for the antagonist. *malicious evil laugh*
Unfortunately, I’ve never plotted a novel before. Which resulted in 50+ plot holes in my first one. Right now I’ve come up with a wonderful system of rearranging sticky notes (which has taken up the entirety of the space on the wall under my loft bed) with different scenes on them. If you have any good plotting systems that work for you, don’t hesitate to share them with me!
Goodness knows I sure need ’em! ?
And hey, by the way, if you’d like to be the first to know about my progress when I update it, follow me on MyWriteClub.com! My username is Madi Grace. I’d love to follow you, too!
Whew! That’s it! I also have seven other goals for March, but those are for my doll blog. I have a doll stopmotion production in the makings that is going to reach and touch many people this Easter, so that’s a big part of what else I’ll be doing this month. I’m so excited about it! I posted a few updates about that here if you’re interested.
“I’d rather shoot high and miss it than shoot low and make it.”
I’m so excited to see what God has in store for us this March! I’d rather shoot high and miss it than shoot low and make it – for example, shooting for 100% and only getting 90% versus shooting for 25% and just getting that much. I am going to give this month’s destruction list everything I’ve got!
What about you? Do you have any goals for this month?
(If you have any prayer requests, don’t hesitate to send them to me at madigrace[at]powerofGOD[dot]com! I’m spending more time in prayer this month than I ever have before and I’d love to believe God with you and for you. ?)
