10 Ways to Kick the Devil’s Butt in Your Everyday Life – #3

Time for way number three! This one is EPIC. ?

3. Believe for Big Things

The devil wants us to think small. If we believe in God at all, he wants us to put God into a small box with the idea that He is a guy in the sky simply for us to sing to on Sunday mornings.

Which could never be more wrong.

Believer’s believe! God has put dreams and desires in our heart (Psalm 37:4) and has crafted a wonderful destiny for each of us (Jeremiah 29:11).

This 2017, we need to do or part; step out in faith and believe God that He will bring to it pass (Matthew 18:19). Then God will do His part. We serve a BIG God Who has BIG plans for us. He has put BIG dreams and desires in our hearts. We are going to great AWESOME things for Him.

We don’t serve a teeny-wheeny God. Yesterday we just celebrated Him raising our Savior from the dead! We serve a HUUUUGE God Who also acts according to our faith. (Mathew 9:29). Our level of faith is directly related to the degree of God’s Word dwelling in our hearts, that is, that Word which is reality to us and in which we are daily walking. The subject of faith is a very, very big subject I have taken many classes on and could go on for hours. (Seriously, I just took a look at my many notes. ?) But my point is that we serve a big God Who wants us to believe Him for BIG things.

Matthew 18:19 says,

“I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.”

I pray for all of you guys every single day and would love to believe God for big things with you! You can send me a specific prayer request here or to my email address, madigrace[at]powerofGOD[dot]com. Because I know what it’s like to believe Him for big things. When I was six years old, I was diagnosed with arthritis that could’ve put me in a wheelchair. It used to be so bad, jumping from joint to joint and making the doctors freak out and having to put me on the same medicine cancer patients are on. Daily injections, steroid injections, and splints were a daily reality to me. But I’m not a weak, frustrated, ineffective Christian. I believe God for BIG stuff. I’ve been standing in faith, praying and believing and… here I am, not blind, no wheelchair, and the teensy-tinsy little bit of what the doctors deemed incurable that remains is getting better! Last week, I was able to bend my knee all the way back for the first time in years without any pain.

You know how seriously mad that makes the devil who wanted to keep me from my calling? He just got his butt kicked.

Don’t settle for less when God says you can have more.

my appointment went great! (if you don’t count the fact that I was bored out of my mind for most of it) 😛 they basically looked at it, didn’t believe that the gap between my front teeth happened over night, instead of gradually, and told me to keep turning it every night for another week. then it has to set for a few more weeks, then I get the braces in! 😀 (yaaaaaaaaaay……more chewing problems….. -_- ) And no teeth pulled! woo hooo!!! 😀

Madi, this was great! Love you thoughts!
And YAY! for your arthritis! My cousin had really bad JRA when she was little, but thanks to a bad sickness she got (i forget what it was called) the JRA was healed when she was still young!! Miracles every day. 🙂 That’s why my least favorite term is ‘minor-miracle’. To me, no miracle is to be taken lightly or reduced in importance, because every one is a gift!
